About Donna
A Parent, an Educator, a Neighbor
Donna Blasdell has spent her career in and around District A's schools — as a parent, a classroom volunteer, and a community advocate. She's running because she believes every child deserves a board member who truly understands what's at stake.
Why I'm Running
I became involved in our schools the way most parents do — through my own children. I sat in parent-teacher conferences, volunteered in classrooms, and attended board meetings. What I saw inspired me, but it also showed me where we could do better.
Over the years, I've worked closely with teachers, principals, and families across District A. I've seen firsthand the dedication of our educators and the potential of our students. I've also seen the gaps — in resources, in communication, and in accountability — that hold our schools back.
I'm running for the Board of Education because I believe our students deserve a board member who will show up, listen, and fight for them every single day. Not just during election season — but every time a decision is made that affects their future.
